I have a 2009 Nissan Murano and the unit definitely needs a professional install as the panels and radio need to be removed. The song select function on the steering wheel doesn't work and you have to use your phone to change songs or the settings button on the dashboard. Songs are displayed on the screen on the dashboard

love it, works great

This works great on my 2006 Nissan Altima while keeping all the original parts; As the packaging and manual warn, you must have a radio with a satellite button. The manual was a little confusing, but after careful reading and a little experimentation, it worked for me. I managed to hide the main drawer between the radio and the glove box. It only has a USB port for charging, in one difficult spot like this I installed a USB extension cable and placed it in the area behind the console door…

Overpriced but works

I think the unit is overpriced. These things shouldn't cost more than $50 for companies to make a profit of 200% of the actual cost of the device. In any case it works. And as expected it doesn't work with my steering wheel controls other than the power and volume buttons. And one more thing, the default settings don't work properly with the device. I had trouble switching between Bluetooth and Aux. Sometimes when I turn on the car the stereo goes into Aux even if I don't use Aux because I have

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • For an old one

I had some doubts about ordering this unit. However, this is fantastic! We have a 2007 Nissan Murano that is ridiculously expensive to install an aftermarket radio on. So I tried that. So far it has connected to iPhone 6, 7, Samsung 6 and my Samsung tablet with no problems. In addition, we connect the satellite radio to an auxiliary device using a simple 3.5mm cable. This device is worth the money! By using this on a factory radio we saved at least $200 since the dash kit for our car is $370…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

UPDATE: It works great now

I wanted to update this review as it's been about a year since I installed it and I've learned a lot. From everything I found the issues I was having were due to bad wiring in my car and once I fixed that everything seemed to work as expected. Please bear this in mind when reading my review below as I am completely satisfied with the device and having it in my old 1999 Infinity Qx4 helped me a lot. I really wanted it to be really good. It was actually quite easy to install and worked really…

Yes, it really is as easy as they advertise.

Took me about 30 minutes to make. Installed on a 2005 FX45. It was a bit difficult to get the stereo out. I went to get a scrap removal tool kit. It costs about $10 and is made of plastic. I suppose you could use a butter knife if you really wanted to. With their help, I removed the dashboard and disconnected two cables from the front panel to the device. Everything connected on the back without disconnecting anything. Ground it with one of the screws on the back. I hid the wires under the…

It's worth it! suitable for automotive electronics accessories

I used a pair of headphone jack style bluetooth receivers on my 2011 Pathfinder. There's always hiss, the volume gets really loud, and the battery always dies eventually (probably because I've exposed them to Michigan winters). I bought another one and came across this product and decided to try it instead. Installation: This was a fairly easy installation after watching a few youtube videos on how to access the back of the radio. This requires removing the shift knob, but it can all be done…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

If you want to add Bluetooth and Aux-in without replacing your factory stereo, this is the best way. I used this on a 2007 Murano SL with no navigation and it connected and worked in about 30 minutes. It integrates beautifully with the track and artist display and playback controls. Before discovering this product, I tried all other ways to add Bluetooth. I first tried replacing the entire stereo head unit with a dashboard, but the Murano Metra kit didn't fit properly and the dashboard…

  • Sleek design

Installed on G35 2004 with satellite TV button

Good price. Probably around 50-75% cheaper than other brands, you need to buy additional cables. The sound quality seems a bit fuzzy in terms of clarity (on the Bose speakers). But I need to listen more to what I'm playing. My phone's equalizer may be conflicting with the Bose settings. I gave him one star for the following behavior. The only thing I noticed and it's annoying is that after connecting, bluetooth goes to max volume for bt45. I've tried several times and every time I start the car
