Streamlined Hub Simplifies Computer Connections

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I discovered how useful a USB 3 hub can be for my networking setup. This one significantly boosts my computer's transfer speeds, while also featuring some highly effective ports. It's a great piece of hardware to have on hand. One minor downside is that it requires external power via an adapter, but this doesn't impact the overall effectiveness of the hub.

Provides 4 USB 3 ports, uses one. Use an external power source when connecting a hard drive or solid-state drive.

The standoffs and screws provided are not a standard 2.5mm, so I used my own standoffs, nuts (which are used as washers) and screws for assembly used. Once installed, it worked fine with low power devices (keyboard, mouse), but didn't provide enough power to the SSD in the USB enclosure. Connecting an external power supply to the USB-C port solved this problem, so the PI4 now has 2 power supplies.
