Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Overall a great device Has some pros: The network began to work much better (than it was on Wi-Fi). The printer is fine too. Cons: It could have been a little longer, my laptop is standing vertically and the cable is just enough to make the hub lie on the table (

After a few days of use, I just bought a D-link USB hub and transplanted all USB devices to it. Now I use this thing purely, like a Type-c to HDMI adapter for an external monitor. A controversial device, especially for the money. Pros: The space gray color is the same as the macbook one. Looks nice, with a good cable it handles 2k 60hz without a problem. Its cons: There is a technical marking on the "bottom" of the case, if you put it differently than in the photo in the description, then this…

It heats up, but the manufacturer indicates the operating temperature is about 60 degrees, in fairness - before that I took another hub, and it also warmed up. On the M1 MBA after 11.3 it works fine, the monitor does not wake up quickly, but falls off very rarely. The network and everything else works as it should. Well hit in the color Space Gray.

They led my wife to the new MacBook Air and connected it regularly to the projector as well as the external disks. HDMI records her class for a continuous period of eight hours. The connection to the external drives is likewise quite secure. Although Ethernet has not yet been required to be loaded, the test connection was successful in accordance with the standards.
