My daughter has a 16 inch bike with training wheels without a kickstand. When the training wheels fell off, that was a problem. She dropped the bike because she couldn't find a backup. This product is perfect, great price and works exactly as described. Great as the bike is no longer thrown to the ground!

*update* Upon further investigation, the problem was not with the bike or kickstand, it seemed to be because my husband was having a bad day. I reassembled the bike and adjusted the footboard in about three minutes. Works perfectly. I gave it to my husband to add to our son's bike. I came back 15 minutes later, the bike was broken and my husband was bleeding. Apparently it wasn't very good. We will come back and buy another design.

The quality of the product on this stand is very good and will last quite a long time hence the 3 stars. I mounted it on the rear wheel of a Diamondback Jr Viper (12") and unfortunately the kickstand causes our kid's bike to stand almost upright when following the directions for the T.
