Wow! I ordered yesterday and the fixed thread was here before noon today. I made some woodworking brackets and had to drill and cut a solid thread on the end to attach the large standoffs to it. I've tried this before with the stainless steel that came with the clamps and broke a drill and two faucets. This metric for all threads worked perfectly. Just the right hardness for tapping with a tiny 8-32 and drilling with a tiny #29 bit.

Reasonable price, acceptable quality for easy use. Not a problem for my project (unusual faucet mounting screw) but these threaded rods have some play when screwed into an M8 socket. By measuring I see that the outside diameter is 7.85mm and the smaller diameter (thread cavities) is 7.30mm so are a bit flimsy. No problem for fastener use, but probably not the best choice for something that requires tight tolerances.

For when your movers need their important bag lose with the equipment you need for your bed. Together again. If you go to Ikea and they kindly give you fittings but not for this model of bed frame. If you need Hemnes CLASSIC hardware and have changed all new Hemnes hardware to 6mm bolts and you need 8mm bolts. This is for you. Nothing to say about them other than they fit, no one else wears them and they don't break the bank and go well with other regional gear.
