I had a slow leak in a wheel for several years and at first I thought it was a tire seal on the wheel. After fitting new tires I still had a slow Leak and started looking elsewhere. I bought this item even though I only needed a valve stem on the TPMS sensor. I uninstalled the old one and installed one of those and luckily the leak stopped. Very good product.

Used these a few months ago because I had a tire that kept deflating and spraying showed no leaks in the rubber but a leaking Schrader valve. I see that for the first time in my car. This, of course, corrected the situation, and to this day it is still holding its breath. It's only been a few months, but I expect it will keep the seal for the foreseeable future. Will update this review if not.

First, I've been a mechanic for 16 years and I'm well versed in the procedure and installation of valve cores. They're so cheaply made and no matter how clean or tight the valves are, they're still leaking. It had to try every core to find 2 that actually worked and didn't lose air.
