A quality tool is best in pliers

Does its job very well, I really like this tool. However, you will dig with pan head screws that are flush with the surface, but I don't think they claim to be effective in this case. Haven't had them long enough to attest to their lasting quality/wear and tear. The gripping teeth are very thin so I don't know how they will hold up with everyday use. But that's not the right tool. Very convenient and efficient when needed!

Hand tool only

I'm a woman in her 70's with frozen shoulders who had to remove 8 bolts from a plastic ShopVac case to replace a busted motor. (See left in picture last remaining screw and 7 screws removed in pocket below). NONE of these tools worked. With vampliers it took me less than 10 minutes to remove all 8 screws. The vampires are exceptional and if I could give them a higher rating I would. The vampires are definitely worth the price and I regret not buying them sooner.

This is the real deal!

These pliers are truly amazing, I repair laptops and cell phones regularly and they have saved me twice in the last few months. Prying off a screw in a laptop is fairly easy, in the past I've used a small carbide tipped drill to cut a channel in the head of the screw so I can get a flathead screwdriver in there. It worked, but it created a cloud of metal shavings that could get into the motherboard and cause a short. Now that I have pliers I can get to the heads of many screws. I find myself…

love love love! Unscrew the processor heatsink screws!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my vampires! I had a hard time unscrewing the processor heatsink screws as half of the heads were ripped off. It was very frustrating and I tried all the disassembled screw hacks I found and I think one of them worked but mostly they didn't work. I was concerned if the vampires would even work since the heads are pretty flat, but decided to take a chance. And I'm so glad I did! They were able to tighten the small screws on the laptop's CPU heatsink and I was able to proceed…

Breaking things on purpose in anticipation of their arrival

I have four broken screw heads impatiently waiting for them to arrive. They like where they are and don't want to be taken away. I tried arguing with them, begging them, putting a vise on them, and it only made things worse. Two screws hold my driver's side window up. this sucks in August and the air conditioning didn't work. Oh, the other two screws prevent me from accessing the cable to control the AC damper. I'm giving these five star reviews now because I've seen online that they work great
