The latches that lock the lid won't stay in place. I can push all four all the way down and when I lift the lid, at least one usually pops open. I carried it and banged it (not hard) on the table, but it was enough to break the other latches and it fell out.

I like it, it's much more pleasant to clean up my garbage. I removed the door as my cats didn't like it. I would buy another. Tip: put a colander under 1 basket and in another. This way you just throw said rubbish away and don't have problems with clumps of urine getting stuck in the strainer.

I would like to give this product a good rating. It seems well made but my cat doesn't want to use it. He's afraid to go into it. He tried it once but didn't seem to like how high he had to kick. He stumbled trying to get up and didn't try again. He is still young (4 months old) and I hope I can get him to use it. I hate the open tray and the way it throws trash on the floor 😒 so I won't stop using it. If so, I'll update my review.

I got this thinking it would be good for sifting pine pellets. Do you know how pellets turn into sawdust when wet? Some litter boxes are designed so that the dirty sawdust settles to the bottom and you then just pick up the poo and the undamaged pellets stay there to be used, so they don't get thrown away unnecessarily. Ok. I love this item. The price was reasonable (really in stock). My only complaint was that I wanted a bigger one, but the price was too high in comparison to consider. I bought one to test.
