We bought it in January 2015 and used it until the end of the cold, dry Michigan winter. We had a 24/7 level 2 air purifier in our bedroom. It definitely did its job of filtering the air as we found a lot of sediment at the bottom of the air purifier every two weeks while cleaning. We filled the washer with a gallon of water each day and saw a significant improvement in humidity. The device is well made and easy to clean.

The idea of this humidifier is a good one. It uses evaporation to humidify the occupied space. This makes it effective and avoids some of the problems associated with both hot water and cold water humidifiers. It's expensive but I thought it was worth it.
