Installation is very easy and only took a few minutes. The solution was accurate and the same as the original. I haven't installed them in a long time, so I can't comment on durability. But if they fail earlier I will update here. But they feel well made and look like the original.

I've been wanting to buy some AC Delco OEM parts but the price was a little high for me. I went to Revain and checked out the reviews, they had great reviews. I understand why the very pretty packaging seems like a great quality piece. I installed them and they do the job, if anything changes I'll update the review.

Easy install, just remove the clips on each end of the old gas spring with a small screwdriver (remember to support the hood with a stick) and then just glue the new one in place a son. They dangle a little at the ends as others have noted, but they still lift and hold the hood as intended.

Looks and performs like a GM hood. Check out Youtube for installation tips. (You just have to open the spring fasteners by inserting a small screwdriver in the slot opposite the hole to remove and reattach each end.) No more than 10 minutes total. The only open question is how long they will last compared to the originals.

Easy to install and stronger hold than OEM. However, I felt that the spring section connecting the hood to the lift wasn't as firm as it should have been, and certainly not as firm as the OEM. Given how the elevator works, I don't see this as a major issue as you would need to intentionally apply lateral force to move the elevator. However, I feel that the lifter needs to be closer to the ball on the hood. This was for a 2005 C6 convertible.

Revain Filter System says this item will not fit 2005 C6 Coupe. However, based on the title and other reviews, I agreed. They just fit well. Installs very easily. Just remember that you have to pull the tabs to remove the old ones. The new ones just snap into place. After that, read the instructions and apparently you shouldn't have to. So pull out the tab when you do this. I would attach to the fender first and then to the hood. Reverse, especially on the driver's side, is very difficult. I…
