Description of 🎞️ HQ VHS-C Video Cassette Adaptor - Exclusive Compatibility with VHS-C Tapes, Excludes 8mm/MiniDV/Hi8

VHS-C type (ONLY) adapter. Not suitable for JVC branded tapes. Will NOT fit anything but VHS-C tapes. (Not 8mm Mini DV etc). If it doesn't say VHS-C on them they are not VHS-C tapes.

Replacement brand sent

The brand shown in the description was not sent. The adapter pictured looks like an exact replacement for the broken adapter I used to play my old mini VHS tapes. I decided to give it a try and it worked fine except it hung when I tried to eject it from my VCR. All my other VHS tapes eject easily. I'm not risking my precious memories. I am returning this item.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Some small things

WORKS REALLY GREAT!

To be honest, there was nothing to complain about. I've had VHS-C tapes in my garage for over a decade. I lost my adapter many, many years ago. I decided to try this. The reviews don't seem bad. An hour after receiving it I put in one of my tapes to see how it would perform after putting in the correct "AA" battery. It worked great. I couldn't believe I was watching a 15 year old video when my kids were little. I was so glad I could keep them. Last night I watched about 10 VHS-C tapes to see…

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • No instructions

I hesitated but VERY happy with the result

I hesitated but VERY happy with the result! This is a great product! Very durable NOT cheaply made! Batteries are required, regular AA batteries apparently were. I've used it for over 25 conversions and haven't had ONE problem! Very good product!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some problems

waste product. Poorly made. Didn't work properly at all.

This adapter appears to be very cheaply made and has never worked properly - not once. After inserting a VHS-C cassette into the adapter, there was a fairly loud rewinding noise (I assume this was due to the unit opening the VHS-C cassette's door, allowing the tape to be called up inside the VCR and could be played ) and also some crackling and popping. Unfortunately, the door opened slightly (about half an inch) once the noise stopped. Of course, this meant it wouldn't fit in the VCR's door…

  • Great for me

Does not work best in accessories and consumables

This product was purchased to transfer multiple VHS-C tapes to DVD. After inserting the AA battery, there was a buzzing sound for about 2 seconds, but the on/off button didn't work. When you turn it on, the window should open so you can insert a VHS-C cassette. This one didn't do anything. Note. I watched a video of someone using this device to make sure I was doing it right, which I did. It will be returned and I will buy another brand.

Pros
  • , of course, for the old
Cons
  • The list would be long.

My video recorder starts playing immediately

It just didn't work for me. Installed 1 AA battery. VHS-C compartment open. The internal parts of the adapter moved before and after the VHS-C cassette was inserted. The problem is that it just won't play on my VCR. He walks in, makes a few noises like he's trying to start playing, then the VCR spits him out. I tried several VHS-C cassettes and they all had the same problem. These tapes are in good condition. My video recorder plays other VHS cassettes without any problems. In fact, I watched a

Cannot be opened to insert a cassette.

Maybe I'm full DA. but I can't figure out how to open the lid to insert a smaller VHSC cassette. I open the cassette compartment, the flap doesn't open and I can't carefully open it through the holes in the bottom. Who can do hekp.pls.
