Viair 90072 Gauge Bleeder Valve Review

Release valve/hold button stopped working after about 2 years. The sensor itself stopped working after 4 years. I found it attached to a magnet in my shop the other day. I have been using this device for a while to take readings from my bike, work truck and other family vehicles. It served reasonably well, but in my hand it always felt like it wouldn't survive a fall or movement. Great little meter. He has a little problem with how he "holds" his breath. For example, you put it on a tire and then take it off the valve stem to look at it. I just tried it and I'm very disappointed. Here are my main complaints: - There is no way to screw the deflator to the valve stem. You just have to hold it there, making it a tiring two-handed affair (one hand holds it by the valve stem, the other presses the deflator button) - The gauge seemed to read about 5psi low - Deflation is slow. The gauge itself is very well made, it's large and feels solid due to the metal construction. The main downside, and this is a big issue for me, is that the tire pressure adapter just doesn't fit well on the tire valve, feels loose and not snug. You have to keep fumbling around and after 3 or 4 tries it will read it accurately.
