Great with power cord at the bottom, too short that's a BIG PROBLEM 3 stars

This portable air compressor is very powerful, I have a Sienna minivan so we'll take it with something in case happened at the puncture, the recommended pressure for my van's tires is 36psi, so I drained 10psi from the rear tire to try it, it worked fine in less than a minute, the tire is 10psi from this portable Compressor returned, LOWER SIDE - The length of the power cord is too short for a minivan, the battery is in the front on the driver's side on this Sienna. So if your flat ends up on…

Quiet but powerful

Great little compressor. I've had cheaper compressors that plug into the cigarette lighter. I don't need a compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter as it just doesn't have enough power to deflate large tires or tires that need a lot of air. The cigarette lighter on one of our vehicles is fitted with a 5 amp fuse which cannot supply much current. This compressor has a built-in 30A fuse. It easily fills our CRV's 16-inch tires. I love that it actually has an air cartridge on the end of…

What I don't like is the cross section and amperage of the cable

What I don't like is the cross section and amperage of the cable. After 2 minutes of driving, the smell of warm rubber can be felt. No burning wire (yet), but you can stick your nose over the wire and you can smell and smell the best smell coming off the wires. The wire becomes extremely malleable (flexible and soft). The drawing of the 23A pump and the 30A fuse fitted must be of good wire gauge. My 60w bulb has the same cord. Probably 16 gauge. This pump requires a 12 gauge or larger. I let it

Just what I needed: Overkill

I can't put air on or off my caravan tires. Insufficient distance between housing and brake drum. A robust, reliable air compressor is a must for me. I have a very weak 12 volt compressor from a large company whose name I will not name but whose initials are CH. CH took so long to inflate the trailer tires to the 65 pounds I needed that my plan was to inflate enough to limp to a real air compressor. Forget using the CH in the tire inflation camp, there's never enough time for that, plus the CH…

It's worth having a device, but not without limitations.

I have used this item six times since purchasing it earlier this month and have a few opinions on it based on my usage. I've seen many portable air compressors under $100 and can tell you most of them are a waste of money. Today someone tried to inflate a low 40psi makeshift spare tire to 60psi and the device they ran for 10 minutes added the full 2 pounds of pressure. The tire only needed 1 pound more pressure. The job took about 5 minutes but it did the job. I've used other times to add up to
