As others have noted I had to skip the thread with a faucet as it was covered in paint. Once I did that I was able to get good seals with the usual amount of pipe tape. The tank is attractive and works well for my needs! - Deducted a star for having to go out and buy an NPT faucet.

Installed in the bed of my pickup truck. So far it seems to be holding up well and I plan to only use it for storage up to 150psi in my application. Another buyer recommended this 200psi tank for VIAIR onboard systems due to the added safety ratings and I did. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a secondary tank for a small air compressor I got a few years ago. I am very satisfied with the quality of this device. The price wasn't bad either. I don't want leaky fittings so I wish this unit had o-ring fittings instead of tubing, but everything there seems to use tubing. I'll take some pipe sealant to fix this issue (my issue is with the fittings in general, not this tank).
