Looks good and works great

Sturdy, nicely finished, perfect fit. You may have to take it off the spindle to close the lid and just place it next to the bowl instead of on top. Although it looks and works fine.

Cons

Difficult. Has a spirit level

So it weighs 11 ounces and is quite heavy. I can't tell the difference in sound with or without on a record, but I tend to have clean, flat records. Perhaps this will benefit the damaged disk. I don't like that I can't cover the dust cover with it on the record. He's too high. The leveling bubble makes it easier for the player to level.

  • Pretty packaging

Very good center height and weight for a turntable

This vinyl weight clamp is heavy and will hold most records flat on the platter pad. The bubble level is useful for leveling the platter and for spotting bad record warpage as it looks off-center. Most records are thin enough to lay flat, but the thicker older record was stiff enough not to warp under weight, and the level let me see that.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Available in white only

2 tools in 1!: turntable and accessories

I love this Viborg LB320B stabilizer. Good quality, plenty of weight on the spindle to keep records flat and improve sound quality. Love the added bubble balance feature on top to ensure your turntable is level. This is an important step before any tonearm or cartridge adjustment. My only complaint is that there's no felt or leather padding on the bottom, but maybe that's a good thing because it could interfere with a real level reading.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Everything ok

Works perfectly even if you have a very short spindle

I bought this to replace another company product (LP628B). Both the previous product and this one are very solid and well made. The previous product didn't work properly for me after I got a new platter mat that was thick enough that the product didn't snag on the spindle due to the taper at the bottom (and therefore was difficult to center). This current product I'm reviewing has no such taper and works great even though my spindle only extends 1/4 inch or less beyond the mat. I am very happy…

Vinyl enthusiasts welcome accessory

I've been looking for this for years to install on my Pioneer PL-560 turntable but couldn't stop so never bought it. They were quite expensive and/or had 50Hz strobe marks when I wanted 60Hz. This specific weight is not marked, which is fine as my TT has its own flash. But otherwise it fits: nice looks, good weight, short enough not to get in the way of the plastic cover of my TT, and on top of that a good level. Oh, and the price is better than the ones I've looked at before, double the price…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Useless features

Great record weight but no "velvety felting on the bottom "

I've never felt the need for record weight but recently bought a record with "cymbal warpage" that slipped over the platter mat. while playing it sounded like it was getting slower and faster. The record weight seemed like the perfect solution. This Viborg looks great, is heavy enough for what I need and is a good price compared to other record weights on the market. The spirit level appears to be accurate: the reading does not change when the weight is rotated. My only gripe (which I deducted…
