Very sharp serrated edge makes cutting easier. And you know, a blunt knife hurts, not a sharp one! I plan on ordering two more (very reasonably priced) so my wife and I don't have to fight over the one we got recently. She plans to order a few more for our (adult) children's Christmas stockings.

I know it sounds silly but this knife really cuts! My neighbor's "good" knives looked fine in their holders, but were dull, heavy and useless! But this Victorinox? It's lightweight, comfortable, and feels like an extension of your hand. Excellent control. Fine cuts - whether pieces, plates, slices, chips! anything.
