Watch out for other negative reviews. That's what most others say and that these pliers are way too clumsy and heavy. The handles and grips are large and widely spaced (and I have big hands), they are awkward to hold and use. The only thing that makes them worthy for me is that I bought them for half the price here on Amazon otherwise I would have returned them.

I personally would not recommend these pliers. I received them and it didn't take long for the rubber sleeve to start falling out. Wait a month or two. Also, they are difficult to hold as they are designed for people with large hands. I have big hands so I had no problems with them but colleagues said they were huge. So again I don't recommend it. Also, you should lubricate them from time to time. They are difficult to open and close. Hope this helps someone.

The wire cutters exceeded all my expectations. It's very heavy and well designed. I'm replacing old wire cutters that I've had for maybe 20 years or more. In my experience, these pliers will probably last as long as the old one. Good solid buy. Please note that there is no tool to strip the insulated wire. I didn't want this feature. I will use the mine for fence repairs and mechanical repairs.

I think I was surprised to see how bulky they are. They were bigger than my last pair. My last pair was handmade with a black handle and measured 8 inches. I didn't know there were different sizes of pliers. I would like to have 8 inches. My biggest complaint is the comfort. The handle is too far away and uncomfortable to hold. I ripped off the bulky handles and bent the handles toward each other, preheating them with a torch.

These are carefully made pliers. I bought these to add to my car tool kit and they are great for securely gripping items or cutting through thick/hard items. However, as an electrician I would not recommend them as the head is extremely wide making them heavy and difficult to insert into a tool. Pocket. They are not intended for everyday commercial use. The head is too big and unwieldy for the actual purpose. The handle is too wide and the handles are too thick. Nothing beats a Klein side cutter. Every manufacturer should try to make a copy of Klein's pliers out of it. They are the industry standard. And there's a reason for that.
