The ONLY dog food that matters

Let me start with this: I was NOT expecting to write such an enthusiastic dog food review. But here I am - a true Visionary supporter! I'm a food freak myself, so I understand the true benefits of a low-carb keto diet. But for some reason I always thought the "premium" food I was feeding was good enough. God I was wrong. Since switching to Visionary Pet, here are some of the changes I've noticed. itching/scratching. A significant increase in energy (I'm talking about a pup's energy throughout…

Ideal for older dogs with diabetes!

My second dog is a 14 year old toy poodle who has diabetes, kidney problems, blindness and partial dementia. Finding low carb dog food has been very difficult. Even high quality dog food that claims to contain corn/peas or no grain was high in carbs when I saw that sweet potato was listed as an ingredient. Dog food manufacturers don't provide nutritional information like they do with human food, so it's difficult to determine the amount of carbohydrates per serving. My dog was constantly…

Pros
  • Contains more calories per cup than some high-carb brands. So you feed LESS!
Cons
  • Fading

I bought Visionary Pet Keto dog food after doing a lot of research on dry dog food on the market. I checked with my vet and it sounded perfect as she has no liver/health issues. My Shorka has food allergies to many carbohydrates (rice, chickpeas, potatoes, etc.). I decided not to try this food for a "keto diet" but only for a super low carb diet. She swallowed it! She used to have dry dog food but I always mixed it with a topper so she eats, not Visionary! She ate her whole plate :) 🐾 I was…

Pros
  • Serve straight from the bag or mix with a little water to release all the flavors your dog loves.

Working to lose weight on my older Beagle - a little pricey

I bought this food after reading a reputable website recommending low carb keto solutions for overweight dogs. I mean keto worked for me so why not for my dog. My 13-year-old beagle gained some weight, partly because she had hip problems and couldn't walk much, and partly because I couldn't feed her off my plate. . But I had to do something because the more she gained weight, the more immobile she became and the less she wanted to walk. It's kind of a cycle, and I had to break the cycle. My…
