Simple and good looking

This system was so easy to install that my husband and I did it together with no arguments. Try saying that about an Ikea bookshelf!

Nice clean installation

I need these cables to finish the steel railing on my patio. All hardware is of good quality and the stainless steel cable looks like it will stand up to the weather. They trim excess cable and there are end caps to give the setup a tidy look.

lots of residual slack

I bought eleven 10 foot cords for my guardrail system and out of eleven five after tightening and cutting the extra slack is so much I need to buy another set. Not sure what went wrong with these 5 as the other 6 worked fine. Installation was easy enough, the only complaint I have is that the five cables are broken.

Pros
  • Little competitors

High quality product

I am a contractor but have never installed a cable railing system. The goods arrived, all the details were clearly labeled. Everything went as described, no problems. I used 4x4's for all my posts and pre-drilled all posts with a drill press at my shop. I can't imagine drilling straight holes in all of these field assembled stands. Once again a great product and will use again.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great product, value and service.

I used 50ft of cable to wrap the deck railing and couldn't be happier. This is a great product. One of the cables had a defect so I contacted the seller and in less than 48 hours I had it replaced. Good service! My cousin is a contractor and just ran wires in his own house for a lot more money. He blames himself when he sees the quality and value of these cables. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Vanish

So easy to install and looks great!

ATTENTION: When you buy this system you automatically buy a QUICK CONNECT TOOL! it costs $10 and saves you time and money. This system is amazing - I can't tell you how easy it is and how beautiful it is to look at when it's all done. One of the parts that you tighten is the part that once tightened you can't take it off and if you pull the cable too tight you can't loosen it again so you need a quick release tool. But the whole process is very simple, and the cost of appearing is 10 out of 10.

  • Easy to read control panel

Incredibly easy to install

Very easy to install and looks great. My wife and I are very proud of the railing we built for our new home using VistaView cables. We built three railings: 23, 12, and 20 feet long. Unobtrusive visual axes from the attic to the great room below are exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend purchasing a lacing needle to protect the cable from wear and tear as it's being pulled through the lugs, and a release tool in case you accidentally thread the wrong holes. Friends are already asking for…

Expensive. Doesn't even include ONE sleeve.

I regret that I stopped on them. They are incredibly expensive, especially since a standard 36 inch height requires 9 pieces. It's also not a "set". It's an illusion. The cable rail requires 1/8 grommets for all racks and they give you NONE. If the threaded end goes into a 4x4, again you have to cut a ton of the threads as the area between the cable and the threads is too big. for standard socket. And no removal tool. I understand - it would be redundant and wasteful to include it. However…

Extremely simple project looks amazing really frees up space

Super easy I would highly recommend the hydraulic crimping tool and the tool that comes with the rack bolt kit is very easy to remove. I ended up using a very small adjustable wrench which did the trick, it looks fantastic and is pretty easy to install. I would recommend putting 2 decorative grommets on the cables before installation, one on each side where they will screw into the wall and into the rack to cover the notch you twist to put them in the rack or whatever screwing just looks…
