Vile is intense but it's clear the engineer didn't install it. If you cannot mount directly to a pole and must use wall anchors, the mounting plate will not sit flush with the wall. The anchors provide a protrusion from the wall and the back of the bracket is flush and not recessed to allow the anchor to be installed. Big failure. I quite like the mount, but there are two things. The right arm drops about an inch more than the left mount, which is annoying when you want to lower both arms all the way. My biggest complaint, however, is that the arms stick out over a foot from the wall if you want your monitors together. I have a 30" deep desk and had to push it out of the wall slightly to be able to use the peripherals on the desk with two 27" monitors. Extremely impractical for mounting a monitor. First of all I would like to say that the build quality of this device is very impressive and it might be a good solution for some. However, if you want to use this device to mount two monitors side-by-side (with no space between them), you must allow at least 2 feet from the mounting wall to the back of the table; (i.e. you have to pull the table out 2ft plus and hold it there).
