This made perfect snow ice easy. The problem is that it leaves tiny bits of metal in the ice that you can't see until they melt in your white shells. I was very disturbed by what was left in my youngest child's uneaten melted bowl, including the cut up spider. Eeeee. I made a few more shells and melted them. All had tiny metal parts. I returned it just a day later.

We bought this for my company and it's a hit. It's very easy to use. You throw ice cubes of any shape into the coffee grinder and BAM! It really turns out with a fine texture, similar to snow. It offers excellent value for money and is very easy to use. My only warning would be to put on a towel to soak up some of the ice going through the crush. This really is a fantastic purchase overall.

Note that when opening the product, part of the styrofoam may break and stick to the machine. I highly recommend that you wipe down every inch of this product as very small bits of metal have come loose from it. It works great and makes snow ice perfect for snow cones. After buying two manual ice crushers that fell apart after a month, I decided to spend the money and buy something more durable and with a motor.
