Good kit but ultimately useless

As others have said the welds are leaking. I assembled mine and did a leak test. I heard a leak and the soapy solution came out. A HUGE blister on a hole in a weld. To return. I will try again. I will add a review, the next one is good. Good set for everything. Other welds were fine.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Appearance

Decent product but poor quality control.

I had to return the first order because the thread on the tank was so badly cut that I couldn't mount the fittings. Now I have a second tank, the thread is passable, but the air pressure switch does not turn off at all, and the wings on the drain fitting broke before I even unpacked them.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Some problems

Really need ZERO but will have to do 1

Unit looked good then necessary fittings installed with teflon as it was definitely necessary and necessary. I used the best Teflon I had on hand. But that didn't cause the "1". The tank has a defective weld pin hole on the fitting that contains the pressure gauge. A lot of water had to be sprayed at this point in order to find the cause of the pressure drop. The bad weld was powder coated so everything looked fine until I found a leak. THEREFORE, THIS UNIT WAS NOT PRESSURE TESTED BEFORE…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Slightly disappointing

The tank worked fine after spending a lot of time screwing all the fittings into the tank. What was the problem? The tank is painted black. During manufacture, the paint also went into the threads of each hole! Each fitting had to be screwed into the tank piece by piece until the brass thread severed the paint. Tighten a little, loosen, tighten a little, loosen, repeat the process SEVERAL times for each fitting! And the worst part was mounting the exhaust valve. Under the bracket! With all the…

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not bad

Sealed, perfect for 14+ hours of testing before installation

I couldn't find anything wrong with this Chinese tank. I cleaned up the threads a bit like I do with any compressed air tool. It is not possible to insert a 1/4 NPT thread into the hole under the mounting bracket. I used a 1/4 STEEL fitting similar to a faucet. I cleaned the color threads and blew them with air from the store. I filled the ports with plugs, gauges and valves and filled them to 115psi from the store. Close the valve, isolate it from shop air, and leave it on the workbench. ZERO…
