I've looked everywhere for real carbon parts but nobody made them and finally ended up with this one. I was hesitant because I don't add parts to my build but it turned out ok and I like the way it looks. I've only put it on so I can't comment on durability and how it will last. But that's enough to remove it and go back to the OEM if it doesn't.

Quick installation and unique look! I also have a Mopar carbon fiber shifter with a similar pattern. It's not true carbon fiber but a mold that fits directly onto the gas cap in two pieces - one for the outer ring and the other for the door. Durability remains to be seen as my car is not in the garage. I will update this review when it wears out prematurely.

The adhesive is nice and stronger than I expected. The details fit well and tightly, which makes it look good from the outside. With only black or chrome available for the full swap, we wanted something different, so this filled the gap. If you look closely and from an angle you can see a very small strip of the original chrome gas cap, the paint will cover it up if that bothers anyone, but it's minor enough that we didn't care as it wasn't rated is at the auto show.
