I have not installed them yet because the boat will be finished inside, when finished then above. I like the idea of the pin system and the look of the product.

The distance between the ears is too narrow

The distance between the ears where the bimini stand fits (standard 1″) is too tight and as they are stainless steel they CANNOT be modified so I had to return them.

Very thin slot suitable for rowing and sailing

They look like great mounts but the slot is very small and my top doesn't fit. so check before you buy. Or you make one side bigger or try to reduce the top bracing. I just got stuck on OME parts and now this page is somewhere in the workshop.

Edit this again to update to 4 stars. The seller added the correct hole spacing and took care of my problem. They are very responsive to messages and easy to use. Thanks again! Edit: Downgraded to 3 stars. The mounting holes are not 1.5" as advertised. They are a good 1/8" wider than these and don't line up easily with my mounting holes. The quality for the price is excellent.

I bought 2 pairs of these brackets to replace the original plastic brackets on my boat. These are direct replacements as per the hole pattern. Unfortunately I don't know who the manufacturer of my originals is. The quality is amazing given the price, quite an impressive upgrade especially if you are replacing brittle plastic or a holed/corroded/cracked chrome alloy bracket.
