Nothing like carbon fiber at all

If you're expecting the look of carbon fiber, it's not. It is a printed texture that has no gloss and only resembles a carbon fiber pattern. I don't think it's meant to mimic carbon fiber and it's not. This might be what you're looking for, but it wasn't for me.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Negative is present

Not quite "real carbon " but it's not that far away

Attached picture is real carbon fiber 3k weave compared to vvivid. Vvivid has a more obvious "zigzag" and less depth through the weave, it's just blocks in alternating directions rather than the feel of a real weave. But it still looks nice!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Everything great

To update. Not as shiny as the pictures

Not as shiny as the pictures. But it has good quality and good thickness. I didn't have the same problems as some. I noticed that I have two different materials, one had deep ribbing to allow air to escape and the other was almost smooth and worked much better. But I had a roll with deep creases and large air bubbles that wouldn't come out with a heat gun.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Commercially available

Overall budget solution, despite good looks, very difficult installation

Very difficult installation- Should be installed PRO, not beginner or garage projects.- Should be considered cheap solution over 3M-- Doesn't stretch does not adjust itself and does not adapt even with all attempts at heating - Wet laying of the packaging material is prohibited (glue peels off) - Do not fold, otherwise folds will be visible after laying throughout the life of the product - Air - Release technology is very insufficient .

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for elderly

Looks pretty real. Doesn't hold sticks well

So for the pros: looks pretty realistic. I like the matte finish more than other glossy ones. There is a good 3D effect. 2 main cons: Mine wasn't very sticky. Even after heating, it stuck out in some places. Mine came pretty badly broken too. It was just a roll thrown into a large box with no wrapping material so all the edges were crumpled when I got it. Overall, what I got was perhaps more of an Amazon issue than anything else. But anyway. I wouldn't buy this again.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Worst packaging. Terrible quality. Don't waste money on it.

Worst packaging. It was terrible. The edges don't stay down. It is very difficult to work with, the air bubble release technology claimed does not work and the appearance is not real at all. It looks very dry and just plain poor quality. Looks very cheap and gets dirty easily. Difficult to clean. I spent a lot of money to get someone to install it and he said it was the worst quality he had seen and charged me more because it was difficult to use and now I have everywhere Air bubbles and the…

Worked great on bike body panels.

I used this on the fairings you kneeled on a BMR R1200GS. This material is quite easy to work with, and the first side was fine, and the second perfect - everything needs to be learned. In my case, this is made easier by the fact that no one can see the back, so I can be a bit sloppy when folding. I have more than enough material to redesign a page, but you really have to search to find the mistake. So I might as well wait for it to get corrupted. However, I've put 1500 miles in a couple of…
