Problem (finally) fixed!

I figured the answer to my ice machine problems (leaking/freezing water) was the ice machine itself so I bought a new one for free (no upgrades). In desperation, I felt that Sears Home Services should come to my home and properly diagnose the problem. It turned out that the real problem was the need for a new water supply valve. Rather than charging a repair fee ($300) on top of the first service visit ($95), the tech suggested I order the part from Revain ($17.95 plus shipping) and fix itโ€ฆ

  • Not bad

Suitable for Kenmore. probably many others; back to the ice cream shop!

The most important thing is that the bracket fits together, otherwise you'll have to improvise which is bad with water and electricity so get your fridge part number/model and test it out . .This fits perfectly with my Kenmore 106.58422700 side by side, a bit old but all it needs is this valve. The ice and water dispenser has hoses of different sizes, so nothing can go wrong. Make sure you change the cable connectors one by one to match where they were. House to turn off the water lines so Iโ€ฆ

  • Highly rated by testers for hold and durability

Which problems? - Refrigerator parts and accessories

I don't know what that scream is about! Yes, looks a little different. Yes, one of the coils is red, not purple. And the electrical connections look different. Lockable quick disconnect hose connectors instead of tightening threaded nuts. But there are no problems to overcome. Hoses and electrical connections vary by size. The water inlet to the valve and the outlet of the ice maker are the same size, but aside from not confusing them, you're not really going to ruin anything. Disconnect theโ€ฆ

Worked great and saved a lot of money

This replacement solved my problem with the drip water dispenser on my fridge which is only about 6 years old. I held the cup under the dispenser but within a few days the cup was full. I found a YouTube video that gave me enough confidence to try it myself. Go to YouTube and search "How to Fix Drip Water Dispenser - Kenmore Whirlpool Supco Fridge Repair" posted March 24, 2014. My fridge is Kenmore model 106.51109 110 and the OE part number is 2188708. The compatibility search has it notโ€ฆ

My problem was solved in Parts & Accessories

Problem: My KitchenAid refrigerator, model #KSCS25FKSS02, was intermittently dripping from the water dispenser. After using the dispenser to get a glass of water, it sometimes stopped dispensing as expected, but sometimes it dripped continuously (about 1 drop per second) from the spout, which quickly filled the drip tray and then flowed. through the door onto the floor. After a few runs in the kitchen, we persuaded the dispenser to the "off" position and stopped using it for a few months. Theโ€ฆ

Universal fit and magnet/coil! Replacing the coil on other models!

I have an Amana refrigerator and noticed that my ice cube shape was deteriorating. So I replaced the tray and then the water doesn't fill the ice cube tray with water. I looked around for a replacement valve and found it to cost anywhere from $40-$90 and thought how unacceptable that I couldn't just replace the spool myself! and I figured I would just "steal" a coil from him and put it on my valve. My theory turned out to be correct and it worked great! Pictures: 1. My green coil was defectiveโ€ฆ
