Good pads. to fit after backing plates have been ground

The backing plates of these brake pads were not cut cleanly during manufacture. .leaving significant burrs. As a result, they did not match the calipers. Before installation I had to clean them with a grinder. Nobody should have done that! Once installed, they work great!

Pros
  • Asbestos-free friction material
Cons
  • Not as thick as other brake pads

Reduced Brake Wear: Brake Pads

Bought these pads to replace the stock pads on my 2013 Tundra. So far, so good. The braking effect is very different. Instead of disappearing, they seem to increase their friction as they heat up. For the first 2 weeks I caught myself stopping abruptly at traffic lights. It took some getting used to, but I'm definitely enjoying them.

Pros
  • FULL COATING - Brake Pads available for most vehicles on the road
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Great pads for replacement parts

I just installed these on my 2008 Sequoia. These pads came with very specific lubrication instructions that other reviewers "probably" didn't follow. It says if you're not using pads, don't put anything on them. In this case ONLY apply silicone based brake lubricant. I've been to four different auto repair shops before I found the right lube. Once installed, they were dead quiet! These suckers are not audible at all.

Pros
  • COPPER FREE JOINT - Features Wagner OE25 Frictionless Copper Join
Cons
  • Updates

Squeaky Squeaky on my 2012 Sequoia.

Initially they only squeaked when reversing and then only when the brakes were cold (first hit). Now, after a month of use, they also creak when stopped. Good up to about 10mph but then squealing until I come to a stop. I installed them with the washers that came with them and used "Silent Disc Brake" as directed on the pad. avoid it If I had installed them straight away I would have exchanged them and sent them back, but they have been in my garage for several months and now I cannot return…

Pros
  • LONG LIFE -- Improved compound design dissipates heat for long lasting friction and reduced brake wear
Cons
  • Replaceable

Excellent (front) ceramic brakes!

Perfect for my 2011 Tundra 4X4! I have never changed the brakes on a vehicle so this was my first time. It turned out to be pretty easy since I was halfway there and had the right tools. FYI, there was no owner's manual, so I watched a few YouTube videos on how to change brakes and even bought a car repair guide. Be sure to remove the anti-squeak pads and apply anti-squeak compound or high temperature brake grease between the pad and the backplate. Just make sure the grease does NOT spread over

Pros
  • HARDWARE INCLUDED - High quality stainless steel hardware for some applications
Cons
  • Some complications
