No longer working - fuel system

This fuel pump has been running for a few months now. It's a weekend car so I've driven it about 100 miles since installing it. Cut at me and left me stranded. I don't see any guarantees in the list. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • Not sure

Choose something else

Installed on a 350hp Honda in October. After 1000 miles the pump had problems with head soaking and dropping fuel pressure on a hot restart. Can't hold hot 43psi, holds about 30 and fluctuates. Enough to get the car out. Walbros aren't what they used to be.

Will not last long Fuel Pumps & Accessories

After the first one failed I realized it was an accident but it definitely wasn't. The second pump purchased failed 5 months after purchase and installation. Pump tested at 65psi when installed. Checked the pump again after 3 months and was struggling to see 30psi. Now the pump is dead. Won't buy it again and won't recommend it

Modification required

To fit this on my '93 Honda Civic I had to make a few modifications to fit the metal bracket. The pump itself is slightly larger (rounder) than the original and you will have to bend the metal bracket to make it fit. In general, this was not made for plug and play 93 Civic (EG), but you can make it work.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Incredible piggy bank

Performance Fuel Pump Upgrade

The pump arrived as pictured, we needed a replacement fuel system for a modern Silverado and were using oversized injectors. We needed a Puma that could function underwater and also have the necessary flow to keep up with the powerful motor in race conditions. We have been using this pump for several months and it is just what we needed. Thanks to the quick release buckles and wiring harness, adapting it to our application was easy and didn't cause us any problems. The fuel fitting has been…

Well built same pump with different name

I received a T1 Automotive marked pump with this product. I was understandably upset and felt like the wrong pump had been sent to me. After some research, T1 Automotive is Walbro's parent company and is moving away from the brand primarily to ensure brand awareness and consistency across its global product catalogue. In short, this is the same pump made in the USA. I found this out when I bought the kit I bought the first time and they sent me the same T1 pump after they sent Walbro the first…

Questionable packaging

The pump appears to be genuine, which is a good thing. The first one ordered arrived damaged in the connector area. I tried it anyway because it shouldn't have affected its performance. Unfortunately, the problem wasn't just in the connector. The pump didn't hold the pressure. It pumps up to 58psi and immediately drops to zero. This led me to believe that the check valve was also damaged, causing it to leak. I hold the shipping method responsible for this item. It comes in a thin layer of…
