Improved Exhaust Flow with Walker Muffler

As a result of using this muffler, I found that my car's performance and gas mileage improved significantly. The exhaust flow is much smoother, resulting in a more enjoyable driving experience. The only downside is that the installation process can be a bit difficult if you're not familiar with automotive parts.

Basically I got this to keep the exhaust temp down on my 2007.

This was mainly made to reduce the exhaust temperatures in my 2007 Cummins Ram 2500 due to its straight through design. It's a little louder than I was hoping, but nothing obnoxious. The big test will be when we hook up our fifth wheel and power down a long incline to see if we can live with the extra noise or not. But I think that should be ok.

This is a high performance commercial muffler. Decent sound, but not obtrusive.

Purchased locally due to lack of time. This is hard work. Thick tube walls and heavy in hand. The local exhaust dealer nodded his approval. I think Walker is the industry standard that most guys are really comfortable with. I went straight pipe and enjoyed the sounds of an old 7.3 PowerStroke with Stage 2 injectors and an upgraded turbo (lots of hiss and howl). The sound was like a big dump truck.
