Great exhaust hangers

Best price on quality hangers. Better OEM! Now my exhaust pipes no longer wobble everywhere when I drive over speed bumps.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Much stronger/tougher than a worn factory hanger.

My Honda has driven 167.xxx miles and my exhaust has been bouncing and clanking on potholes. When I removed the old rubber suspension and compared, day and night were different. The exhaust does not rattle or knock. Very happy

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

ideal for Fox Mustang dual exhaust.

I almost caught fire with my original so I desperately needed another one! Perfect for a '79 Mustang rebuilt to a full dual exhaust (BBK front, Flowmaster rear). I took the part number from the standard RockAuto catalog for a '90 Mustang.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Took 1 year and 8 months before both failed

Bought two of these to replace some old exhaust hangers that are attached to the muffler. They looked the same and installed well but both failed after 1 year and 8 months resulting in my exhaust dragging on the freeway. The third hanger (closer to the middle of the exhaust pipe) was still original and although it was 10 years old it stretched until the muffler hit the ground and is still good. Unless you plan on changing them every year, don't waste time on them.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some flaws

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (ZJ) Replacement

Likely 3/4 OEM thickness so durability is questionable. The original 1995 OEM lasted 25 years so this one might last 1/2 (12.5 years). Let's see. Otherwise a simple replacement. About 20 minutes depending on whether the nut is removed due to rust. Use a vise for the bolt (towards the front of the vehicle) and a broken bar for the nut (near the exhaust side). Both required a 13mm head, and extensions (18" worth) were useful (but only for breaking) for a head on a nut. The bushing came out of the

Pros
  • HOLDS EXHAUST SYSTEM PARTS IN POSITION -- To support vehicle underbody exhaust components
Cons
  • Good but not great
