🪵 Round Wooden Surface for Walnut Hollow Clocks Review

I was expecting this to have a notch/cutout on the back for the operation of the watch because it came up when I was looking for parts to make my own watch , and there is a hole in the middle. Not sure what "hollow" means in the description. I will use it for something else but definitely not watches.

Made a clock for my son in law for Christmas. I expected the inner circle to be sunken - that's how I saw the picture - but it's raised. I changed my design a bit to make up for the difference and it turned out really well. a product profile would be helpful.

You know those optical illusions that look different depending on your brain function? Here's what it became for me. I thought it was a circle with a raised edge, but it turned out to be a raised circle with a bottom edge. While not what I expected they are very good and will be a great watch one day.

I recently purchased a TikRound movement #1288SMQ, the stem doesn't seem to protrude far enough to attach the bracket. Are there any additional mounting hardware or do I need a much thinner dial? Also, this item was in the mailbox and the key to the locker was not in my mailbox, the locker I found it in was unlocked. I was lucky to get it before everyone else. I have another dial or a copy of the one I received last week, I don't understand why I need two of these.

The watch looked pretty rough and damp but after I sanded (100) and painted over it looked very nice. I also applied tung oil to the exposed areas of the wood and it gave it a nice shine. One thing though: I thought that the outer rim protrudes outwards, but on the contrary, it is beveled inwards so that the middle part protrudes more. Nothing bad, just not what I expected. I actually bought 2 of these and one of them ripped down the middle. In the end just glued and everything is fine.

Bought two of these and decorated as gifts. Looks the same as in the picture. This is a nice large size - perfect for a simple wall clock. I made both of my clocks by gluing magazine paper together with diluted school glue. It worked great. As for the rims - I painted the rim of the first, painted over the second. Both worked great! Now my friends are doing the same thing - drawing or gluing - both possibilities. The hands (which I bought separately) fit perfectly in the hole on this clock. The
