Low Quality AM Products

I connected this hotend to my 3D printer and immediately encountered two problems. First, when I turned on the heater to heat up, the printer immediately stopped due to thermal overload. I checked the thermistor settings in the hotend in my Marlin firmware and everything was correct. I had a couple of spare thermistors that I bought recently, so the first thing I did was replace the thermistor that came with the hot end. This fixed the problem and the heater started heating. If you're having trouble with that, it's probably not the components. Learn more about all-metal hot-end printing!

I thought it was defective until I took the time to learn more about full metal hot ends and good prints. PTFE lined necks work best for my needs and I haven't had a single problem with them since replacing the thermal brake neck with one of the nylon lined replacements that came with the kit. All metal hot ends require much more severe heat brake cooling than I think and you need to lubricate the hot end with some oil and drastically reduce the draw distance or you will end up with a stuck hot

Works incredibly well for the price, prints PETG like a champ

It cost less than twenty dollars in one day shipping. It contains a number of parts. I converted my Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus to use this V6 with an adapter I got from Thingiverse. I also had a separate 24v heater cartridge as it is used in my printer but it comes with 12v. My previous hotend was a MicroSwiss MK10 kit which worked fine for PETG but the overlap was terrible even after I had tried many mods for filament cooling.
