I live in the southwestern desert with very hard water. This filter filters some of the calcium out of the water, but not all of it.

Nonsense, don't waste your money. I was very hopeful using the Mr Clean system before it was discontinued. This one doesn't matter, I've tried a few times and it exits the car just as seen.

Well designed filter that is easy to attach. Works as advertised, significantly reduces stains on the last rinse. Please note that the filter has a very limited lifespan, so the minimum amount of water should be used for the final rinse.

I live in Ohio where the water always dries up leaving a chemical imprint of a water droplet. until the end. With this filter, NO MORE PROBLEMS - STAMPS. it's absolutely awesome. I will buy another one :)

I don't usually write reviews here, but as a professional mobile technician performing a small operation, I've tried many built-in filters and I can confidently say that this filter really does the job, Remove water stains and remove all hard minerals. After buying my first one, I ordered two more, just in case. Very happy!

A little skeptical at first but this product really works. Tested with a ppm meter and my garden hose water dropped a few hundred ppm. Be sure to read the instructions that come with this product to minimize water stains when washing your car. 1) Wet your car, then wash and rinse as if you were using regular water on a regular basis. 2) After rinsing out all your car wash soap, use this filter attached to your garden hose to rinse away any remaining hard water.

I use this filter in a slightly unconventional way. I grow plants in a greenhouse. In the summer, the temperature in the greenhouse gets high enough to kill the plants. I use mist fans that spray water to cool the room. Now the problem. We have "hard water" that leaves limescale deposits on the blade surfaces of misted fans. The calcium makes the leaves look awful. A few years ago my parents surprised me by cleaning a Mr. AutoDry for me. The kit included a water gun, soap and a couple of filters. I used this setup for about 10 years before accidentally putting it aside.
