I used it to store sourdough. I bake every day so it's important that they are easy to clean. They have an interesting shape and look great on the countertop. I've bought them twice already.

They are durable and very easy to clean. Many additional covers are also available for purchase. They're attractive, and because you can see through them, it's easy to see what's in your pantry. I also use my sourdough jar tool.

I use 7 ounce jars and the liner is barely thick enough, but when the circumference is larger, it is very difficult to keep the liner on the lid, to close the jar. The glasses are good, but the seal does not close them tightly. A thicker pad solves the problem immediately. If they fix this I hope they list the pads as new and improved on their website so I can replace mine.

I may be extraordinarily clumsy, but with the steep (stone) pitcher I found it impossible to serve the sourdough properly without first stirring it in the bowl and then pouring it back into the pitcher give. (Considering that, that's not really a problem 😜, but.) The mason jar's rounded sides make feeding mom much quicker and easier. It's also handy to have two if you have two types of snacks or want to keep a batch in the fridge.

Love it! I was so worried when I received the package because I heard clinking pieces that sounded like something was broken but it was just clips being placed in the jars! Together the clips and seal were inside the jar, individually wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper. Banks are such a good size. Specially for sourdough, very easy to remove and clean, as well as feeding. And it's way better than mason jars in general! I will replace all my Masons with Weck! The only thing is that they can

They're prettier, but ultimately not as durable, functional or versatile as pricier hinged versions like Le Parfait tins. It's great for sourdough, actually better than hinged jars as I can pour out sourdough much easier than with a flip-top flutter on the go. I don't use clamps on my starter at all, I just run a drop of water over the rim and clamp the gasket to form a seal. So of course I've already lost the clips! I use Weck sourdough jars. I have several and this makes feeding/disposal easier as I take it out of a jar and put it in a clean jar. Great cans for other things too. You can use it to preserve fruit, make extracts, etc. I like the wide mouths, both for stuffing and cleaning. Heavy glass is durable. My only minor caveat is that the rubber rings that wrap around the lid don't fit tight enough to the lid to stay on by themselves. They are a bit loose so you have to hold them when you put the lid…

These are beautiful (and expensive) solid, durable glass storage jars. The clips are easy to use with practice, however I have found that some very small pieces of glass can sometimes break off when closing as I have read from other reviewers. Luckily, the almost powdery particles are on the lid's outer groove (facing out, not in) so it doesn't come into contact with food. And it doesn't happen every time.
