Conventional flux brushes work well

Flex brushes in this style and design have been around for decades. They are very similar to the ones I remember from the 60's and 70's and they work great. The bristles are attached fairly well and don't fall out of your grip like some cheap nasty brushes. Well, usable products in the expected design are constantly being produced.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Hair doesn't fall out!

I mainly use these brushes for cleaning. Both the flux and the solder I use leave a bit of a residue that I want to get rid of. I used cotton swabs, brushes (for painting), paper towels and even a toothbrush! For me, they hit the sweet spot. Not too expensive, you get 25 packs which should last you a while and won't fall apart easily even with vigorous brushing. No cotton swabs, no lint, no paper towels and no toothbrushes. All this is conveniently at hand, I recommend!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Good quality flux, overpriced

Good quality flux, overpriced. Weller has been in the soldering business for a very long time and you always get quality products. These brushes have been around for just as long. However, these are just simple stamped steel brushes that serve a specific function or can be used as disposable brushes. I usually buy them at the port for 1/3 the price for more. In comparison, they are identical, but slightly longer. For something so simple, buy at the best price. Placing the Weller brand name on…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Corresponds to the description: Welding and soldering

There must be a difference between these flux brushes and other, cheaper ones, but I'm not sure exactly what. They are definitely good quality and as described, but for the price I don't consider them disposable. I will try to clean them after each use. Sure, they're cheap enough that I can use them for rough work, and if glue or paint accidentally dries in them, I'll just pick up a different one. One of the uses I have is as an art brush to create special effects. They are good for drawing fir

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No instructions

Much better than some of the flux brushes I've come across.

The bristles are soft, flexible and move well, penetrating cracks and glass edges without damaging the seams or the glass. I like that they are light and comfortable to hold. Reliable quality and fast delivery are important to me. I ordered these because I'm going back to stained glass and these brushes aren't what I'm used to. I think they will last me for a long time, probably a year. I don't just throw them away a lot, they have to wear out. I will update after use. Weller has a pretty good…

Inexpensive way to do crafts and more.

This is a great option for creativity with children. I've used them with my 3 year old with a variety of colors and love that the bristles stay in place and don't fall out. The bristles are thick and wiry rather than soft, geared towards different types of art brushes. I also like that I can use multiple brushes for different colors. The brushes are inexpensively manufactured from a metal alloy bent into a hollow round shape with a crimped bristle end. Cleaning is garbage. If you plan to use…

Pros
  • Strong Solder Joint: Improve solder joints with the flux brush. Apply flux consistently for soldering circuit boards, stained glass and other applications.
Cons
  • Very expensive
