Need brakes for power tools and hand tools

I ordered two of these bases and returned both. I have installed them on two different types of belt sanders. The rear wheels do not stow, so when the front wheels stow, there is not enough friction on the ground to keep them from moving. The rest of the build was pretty good, except that the metal holding the front bottom pins in place seems too light for the advertised carrying capacity. I would expect at least an angled iron or even better gutter rather than just a piece of flat iron.

The mobile base is the best among power tools and hand tools

A good mobile base that was easy to assemble. I'm giving it 4 stars because of assembly issues. The first problem was that one of the foot pedals was difficult to fit into the wheel roller flange, it was very tight and I had to bend the foot pedal 90 degrees to fit it into the flange, it still stretches a bit when lifting the foot pedal . Другая проблема, с которой я столкнулся, заключалась в том, что я мог уменьшить ширину только до 23 1/2 дюйма, и я полностью поместил короткую боковую…

Almost easy to assemble

This is a good item and works exactly as I hoped. The instructions are somewhat incomplete. They say to insert the rails into the corner brackets as far as possible and install two screws on each. In two places the steering rack is in such a position that you have to loosen the wheel axle screw and thread it through the steering rack. They should tell you to attach the wheel after the track is installed. I assembled this as two U-shaped assemblies, then placed one under each of two of the…

Works well strong but not quite when closed

I really liked it initially and used it to assemble a table saw trolley. In general I was very happy with the design but found a few issues. First, the latches for the two rollers that lift off the ground aren't symmetrical - it looks like one of them was welded on at a slight angle so it doesn't lift the roller as high as it should, but I can deal with that. The real problem for me, and why I might want to return it, is that when it's lowered so the rubber feet are pressing against the floor…

This will work fine for my table saw.

I looked at offers online and settled on this base. It was a good price and seems strong enough for the way I use my table saw. I'd say it's really good for home use, but I'd use something more permanent, like a welded angle, in an industrial setting. I removed some of the threads from the few supplied M6-12 screws that hold the frame together. I used my Makita impact wrench. Bad idea. I had to replace 9 screws. The nuts were fine, as were over half of the supplied M6 bolts. I suspect if I had…

Fits my 14 " Delta Bandsaw.

This mobile base works well with my 14" Delta Bandsaw. The adjustments work well and the only real issue is that you have to use it due to the screws in the Frame cannot be adjusted as little as you would like to fit perfectly on the base This allows the saw to slide easily on the base This was a simple fix by adding a pair of easy to cut wooden discs that just slide in to take up extra space and free up the screws. Leave the bumps right where they should move smoothly over the mounts to raise…

Perfect match for Dewalt scroll saw and stand

I bought my scroll saw used and originally had a Dewalt scroll saw (DW788) and stand (DW7880) on 3 tiny casters. I was never happy with the way he moved. So I bought some 3 inch caster wheels and installed them under the legs instead. I was pretty happy with how the saw moved, but it sat way higher than I wanted. The roller lock also prevented the saw from rolling, but it still wobbled a bit. And then I found this mobile base. The assembly went well. I ended up with an assembled frame body that

OUTSTANDING - The greatest thing since sliced bread!

I (like most guys) used my 2 car garage as a workshop. It's great until you decide you really want to put a car in (what a weird thought). Most of my large tools and workbenches are on casters or stackable. Along one wall is a storage rack (corners, shelves, shelves) and a bench drill mounted on a heavy tool stand. Whenever I have to park my car in the garage, I have to remove ALL the storage boxes from the shelf, get it out of the way, then jack up the drill and put it on moving trucks to move

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Useless features
