This is a great safe chew toy for little ones

This is a great safe chew toy for small, medium and medium to large birds. I have been buying this item for years and my birds (green cheeked kennel, sunny kennel and open eyed cockatoo) love this item. Birds get tired of other toys, but not Bird Kabob. You have to do it on a huge scale so it can last longer. (They already come in small, medium, and large.)

Pros
  • Described as Catnip for Birds
Cons
  • Nothing

Ideal for large birds

My red-bellied parrot loved tearing it apart. Don't think it's a permanent toy as it's meant to be chewed. Small birds like parrots don't seem to chew it that much, but bugs and larger ones love it. Buy extra. One of the first things they chew is the rope they're hanging from. They will often pick it up off the cage floor. Keep a few extra ropes handy to hang it back up and you're done. A good buy if you don't know what silly expensive string toy will make your bird happy. highlighted.

My budgies **LOVE** this toy! The best chew toy for birds!

The reason I gave it 1 star for durability is because my 3 budgies gobbled it up in just 2 days! They like to attack him, even with obsession. I gave it 3 stars for value because they are a little pricey - anything labeled with birds is overpriced in my opinion. Honestly I'd change them more often if they were cheaper - after all it's just a piece of yucca wood. But the pleasure it brings to my birds is worth it. After about a month, all of the soft material is chewed up and they continue to…
