This mount was just what I needed. Hawaii has stupid vehicle laws. Especially for trucks. I have a normal steering wheel, even without a brand. But it was mounted directly into the holes in the skid plate.

The perfect solution for your steering wheel! I was afraid it would block my grille, but it fills up nicely. Two-hole license plate mounting options fit most license plate brackets. You must install it on the cross member before installing it on your truck!

Received the goods as advertised. The top brand didn't fit, had to be modified (I had to drill a hole in the crossbar) to allow the bracket to attach securely to the crossbar. It came out okay. However, it took longer than planned (about 2 hours as I had to completely remove/reinstall the cross member) to properly install the mount.

Works well in an ideal world. If, like me, you use an "effective" plate like the "don't step on me" plate, you can strengthen the plate. Someone has injured themselves and bent the bracket's tab. You could do this because the top of the slab is unsupported. The mount works great if you don't have snowflake neighbors.

I didn't want to buy it but CA needs a faceplate. It was cheaper than a ticket. I was concerned that the plate's appearance was inferior to that of a Westin bull bar. In fact, everything is not so bad. The bullish bar frames the record beautifully. The plate ends slightly set back at the very front so that the plate does not protrude further than the bull bar. It looks good.

Installation took about 90 seconds, simply loosen a hex screw holding the guard plate in place by inserting a long hex wrench through the "S" into the Westin on the Insert protective plate. . There is no need to remove the bar if it is already installed. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is good and the plate-threaded brass inserts are a nice touch. Would I buy again, reliable product.

Worked great. The instructions are wrong in one respect. It comes with two rubber bumpers that protect this mount from rubbing against the handlebars. The instructions say to put the bumpers in a place where there isn't even close contact between the two parts. Place the bracket onto the handlebars before bolting to see where the contact occurs and attach the rubber bumpers at that point.
