Over the years I've tried different manufacturers: Freud, Amana, Bosch. and cheap like Sears. While some of the best names make very good beats, I found Whiteside to be the best. Out of the box they are very sharp, have excellent carbide quality (and excellent overall quality), stay sharp longer, don't rattle and burn marks are very rare.
