Unlike most Whiteside bits I own, this bit must have been defective. I cut a 1/4" deep groove in a figured maple and the chisel broke after about 50 feet of use. To make matters worse, LIFESTYLE of FOCUS (dealer) denied selling me the product, despite providing a Revain invoice stating they sold me the product Avoid this reseller at all costs!
I'm new to CNC carving and bought some starter bits, this is one of them. I can tell the difference between higher quality beats and beats you pay for. This bit is very sharp and does a good job. With this attachment, the cut quality is MUCH betterβ¦

Since the countertop was already installed, it had to be cut from top to bottom. The down cut bit seemed to be the best as it minimizes any chipping of the Corian finish. I chose the Whiteside beat as it was highly rated. I'm glad I did. I used aβ¦
