Disappointed: Power and hand tools

I'm an electrician and I wire PLC cabinets 10 hours a day 5 days a week. I've had a Wiha 3x60 screwdriver for years so I ordered this to replace her and others after losing the original. Within the first week the 3x60 had a broken tip so I started using the 2.5x50 and the tip broke within a month. Very disappointed with these. I had my first waiha in years, it's bullshit compared to my original.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No instructions

I like the handles, they are a bit larger than usual which gives the screwdriver bits a bit more torque. I use these screwdrivers for personal repairs on O and HO gauges. I bought a HO scale locomotive in the early 1990's. I haven't driven it in twenty years. I had to disassemble it because it wouldn't start. These screwdrivers do a great job when used correctly. I am very comfortable.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Buy it. You will not be disappointed.

When it comes to small gear, a handy tool makes a big difference. Loose tips quickly detach from the screw heads. These Wiha drivers fit snug and snug and are not made of soft, inferior metal like many other offerings. I hesitated to add them to my toolbox for years and definitely shouldn't have. Worth every penny. If you're interested in electronics, radio control models, or any other hobby or profession that uses little equipment, you won't regret this purchase.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

In fact, I've never worn it out, and I'm an electrician by trade.

I am an electrician and have been using Wiha screwdrivers for over 18 years. They invariably hold better than any other screwdriver! I use them to knock paint out of screw heads, etch stainless steel and the like, and they keep their edge so they don't slip out of the screw. The 3mm pan head also fits #1 and #2 Phillips screws. Unbelievable how convenient it is not to reach for another rider. The one in my bag is about 10 years old and I have no intention of throwing it away. I take it home to…

11/10, One of the best tools I own.

I work in the cabling and IT industry and a colleague introduced me to Wiha drivers a few years ago. You can find them at some hobby or specialty stores, but for the most part you won't see them at places like Home Depot or Lowe's, which is a shame because in my opinion these are the most accurate drivers I've ever had. Second hand. I use my first Phillips #0x60 daily which I bought over four years ago and it still looks like it was fresh out of the box. I have used it as a pry tool, scraper…

Not as good as I expected based on reviews

I am currently looking for a full (50+) set of precision screwdrivers. I wanted to order such small kits from several manufacturers to see which one I like best. Before I order a ton and boy am I glad I did. Based on the reviews here and many others online, I expected them to be the clear winner. But after using them a bit I'm not impressed. Tapered edges where made. Red tops meant to spin, one driver was so loose I could spin it while the next was so tight it wouldn't spin at all unless I had…

  • Great for me

  • No performance
