Wiha 26791 Precision T1 T8 8 Piece Review

I bought this tool kit for a specific job. I disassembled my Polar fitness watch. I already had five different Torx tool sets. Three sentences out of five. were Wiha, so I already knew the quality was excellent. Neither of them had a small enough for it. The battery would be easy, the battery is impossible to get. So I bought a new fitness watch. But the tool is great.

This set is legal. I've used Craftsman micro kits as well as snap ons and they keep them. In the end, the master removed the plating from the lugs a little, and in the Snap-On Torx set they are just larger and less comfortable (the swivels are not that good, IMO). High quality! Got this to provide a reliable T5 driver for removing the screws holding the bottom cover on Razer 15 and 17 laptops. What a waste of money, the t5 fell off a bit on first use. These Wiha tools are made of much better materials and done right. Buy tools at a discount if you intend to use them more than once, get good quality that will last and be reliable. Oddly I only used this set yesterday and today comes a request for a review. I used two such torx tools to take apart two failed hard drives to take out the drives and make them unreadable. Yes, you can just drill holes all the way through the disc, but it was more enjoyable to take it apart, see how it all works, and then bang on the discs with a ball-ended hammer! Of course, if you just want small Torx screwdrivers for quick and easy work, buy the cheap ones; It might only be enough for a job, or maybe even half a job, but buying one or two of these will still be cheaper. All drivers have the red tip rubbing against the black plastic housing. The friction is so great that some of the red tips rotate with the black bodies, making the tip pointless. Also, the top is so small that it's difficult to keep your finger on it when spinning with one hand. If you're like me, when you buy a tool it becomes part of the family and you plan on having it until you die. Well, these Torx screwdrivers seem to fit the bill. While I can't measure the hardness of these screwdrivers, the screwdriver shaft has very little flex when pressed against a surface.
