I really wanted this cat food to be good. It has chicken meal as the first ingredient, fishmeal as the second, and then chicken fat (canned) as the third. The rest is peas, apples, blueberries, cranberries, papaya, mangoes, etc. My cats didn't touch them. They aren't picky about food, but that wasn't on their menu.

I have very picky cats and they love it. The composition is not bad for dry food. Carbohydrate sources are tapioca starch and peas. Carbs are bad for cats, but they're not as dangerous as others. It also includes apples, blueberries, and other foods that are healthy and sound good for humans but not for cats. My cats are mostly fed raw canned food for convenience, and I leave them a bowl of kibble as a snack. I would never use dry food as a main food, but this is perfectly fine as a supplement.

When I introduce a new dry cat food, I usually do a taste test by placing the new food on the plate next to the tested one. Based on that number, this meal was a hit from the start.
