I really like how heavy it is. I've been using it for about a week at work for my melon and bacon. It's "hot" for what it is and goes right through the fetus.

Great for lunch, easy to clean and can't wait to use them again! Perfect for a halfway healthy last minute snack. You can tell the metal cuts through the melon instead of smashing the melon causing the juice to spill all over the place! Love the slimmer size too!

I expected this melon filler to have a sharper edge. But it's almost as stupid as the cheap ones with plastic handles. I had one of the same brand, before that it had a sharper edge. The old one broke after 15 years of use cutting melon balls.

A baby food cookbook I recommended for the melon filling so I took the opportunity to buy something we could use later in our kitchen. It's heavy and after using it on my daughter's meal I tried it on melon, wow it does the job and doesn't hurt when you're done!

This melon ball can be used to make round melon balls, but also other vegetable and fruit balls to make them more interesting for young children. The actual size of the tool is like a small spoon and the balls are just under an inch in diameter. Operation is simple and intuitive - simply scoop with a deep twist of the wrist. I've never actually used it on melons. Instead, we use this to remove the core from apples. Thanks to the small pin, my husband can remove the core from an apple without cutting it with a knife. Specially designed tools usually do not react to different sized apples and pick up too much or too little. With a melon press, we can vary as we like.
