Let's be clear if you're buying this for.

To be clear, if you are buying this for a car you will not need an additional wire or harness. A car or truck has enough power to plug directly into the existing wiring. It supports single or two wire installations. The horn comes with a relay. If you are buying for a motorcycle you will need a wiring harness not a relay as it comes with the horn. I bought it for my Jeep, I already have two horns in JK but this one is louder. It was a close landing.

Good customer service but horn does not work

1) When tested the horn did not sound any louder than the original equipment. 2) Paid a mechanic to install the horn as it was harder than we thought in the instructions. We watched him at work. 3) When I got home and wanted to hear the horn again, it didn't work at all. I checked the installation and everything was secure and in place, but there is no sound. I called the company but they said I had to refund through Revain as Revain received my payment. When we took the old horn back to the…

Louder than standard, not "Air Horn " Semi

You need to know what you are buying here. It's not the beep you hear on semi-finished products. These horns require an air compressor and the horns themselves are much larger. These settings cost a few hundred dollars. However, for $30, it's definitely an upgrade. I used a decibel meter on my phone. My stock horn (a 2015 Jeep Wrangler) read about 50-55 dB. This horn was about 74-77 dB. It's definitely louder. Also, there is no "promotion" or anything I've read from some people. When I touched…

Helped my FJ Cruiser raise the horn

I used this to boost the weak horn that comes factory installed on a Toyota FJ Cruiser. I used an existing attachment point and created my own loom so I don't have to cut into the factory wiring and wire the stock horn. This allowed the horn to be operated from the stock horn switch in the center of the steering wheel. I needed a separate signal feed from a 20A backup battery, although I've read that increasing the OEM from 10A to 15A might work (but I found it a bit dodgy). I live in Dubai and

I'm feeling lucky. good for lighting and electrics

It worked part of the first day I installed it. I had to make an 8" ground wire as my stock Toyota FJ Cruiser horn only has a positive wire and uses a screw to hold it in place as a ground. So I installed a new ground wire horn and it worked, it was a little louder than the stock horn and it worked. I installed it at work and on the way home I used it like a toy, I think on the way home (30min drive) it stopped working. When I got home I popped the hood up to see what had happened and it was…
