Fiction! Ability to understand and use right out of the box.

I bought this digitizer to convert 7000-10000 35mm slides from 1969 to 2006. The developers of the Wolverine product knew exactly what users like me wanted because they paid attention to every important detail.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • So so

Works great for scanners and accessories

I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the quality decreases a bit when scanning a negative or slide. I bought this scanner because my old one is no longer compatible with the newer operating system on my computers. It works well but not as well as my old one which was made for more professional work.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Can't get a clear scan

I had slide a. I scanned it with a flatbed scanner and compared to the scan from that and there was no comparison (same photo). I couldn't arm it. I adjusted exposure and sharpness in all possible combinations (RGB not adjusted) and couldn't match the tablet. It's easier and faster to use this flatbed if you're not so picky about quality.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

If you like pixelated, fuzzy digital images, this is for you!

Ok for big 120 negatives, but terrible for 35mm. The product claims 20 MP. However, this is the case when the entire negative covers the surface of the illuminated area. Better buy a $50 negative viewer and take a picture with your phone. Indeed one of the most disappointing purchases I've made and unfortunately I didn't realize the flaws until after the return period had passed. Incidentally, the original negatives were in excellent condition and 95% of the original photos were sharp.

Pros
  • Very good value for money

Scanned Photos and Scanned Negatives

So if you're like me, you have shoeboxes full of printed photos and negatives and with the best intentions of putting them in albums or scrapbooks. I have both from a trip in 1997. I wanted to keep the images of the photos but was hesitant about scanning my existing photos or buying a negative scanner. After looking at the first few strips of negative I was very disappointed with the image quality. I was about to give a pathetic review of this product but with more use of the device I found I…
