Just what we needed

We have a kitten, so his poop is smaller than that of an adult cat. Our dustpan we had was bigger between the slats so we could never get all the litter out of his cat box. This one does

SMALL holes in toilet litter and burglary

The holes are too small to let through kitty litter (lumpy let alone clay) so it looks more like a scoop than a dustpan. The basket has no corner, making it almost impossible to lift the tray. Things roll out before you can get them out of the pan. It can be useful for something, but not like a kitty litter scoop.

Holes too small, best in dustpans

The holes in this dustpan are too small to sift through some of the trash. Added to this were the difficulties with the delivery/return/exchange of the goods. I broke my first shovel. I sent the blade back for replacement. Long story short, the above process took 3 months to get approved and when I got a replacement and the holes were too small I just threw it away.

  • Few competitors

Shovel for pet toilet for dustpan

This scoop is probably very good for reptile litter, but not for cat litter! The holes are too small to work effectively (it takes a bit more time to weed out unwanted bits) and the handle isn't tilted, making it a bit awkward to use in a litter box. Maybe you could use a small drill to make some of the holes bigger, would that work better?

Pros
  • Robust version
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Thing works: Dustpans

Not very strong but works great for removing all those pesky little bits of junk from the cat box. Not for the impatient as sifting takes a few minutes but gets the job done. I have found that this works best if you first use a regular sized scoop and then sift a small amount by tilting the front up and lowering the handle slightly as you sift. This will roll the small pieces to the back of the scoop where they won't fall out. I'm going to buy another one for my niece for Christmas now that I…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

Not suitable as cat litter "Sieve "

I bought this product to remove the small crumbs of urine that come off my litter box after I have cleaned up all the clumps of urine and feces. . Unfortunately, the holes are too small for debris to fall through. I even decided to get a drill and electric drill larger holes. After spending about two hours of my life making the holes a little bigger, it still didn't work as a colander. Spring. In short, a great product, well made, durable but not designed for a crate.

Didn't work for me - holes too small

I kept looking for a filter or screen to get rid of small clumps in the litter. The worst part is when you let the litter dry out and the cats, as I call it, "hit rock bottom". Using a traditional tool to scrape material from where it's stuck to the ground usually creates a lot of fine particles that a regular shovel won't catch. . But it just doesn't work. The holes are too small. I use Walmart clumping litter, but I've used Fresh Step for years and do it occasionally. The grains are about the
