Great product for the price

I still have an old pair of more expensive plastic rings. Splitting my time between two locations, I was tired of carrying a plastic pair in my checked baggage. What a pleasant surprise that in my hands they are just as good and even much better. The larger diameter probably helps. I didn't bother with the straps and cam but this is an easy and inexpensive replacement. The rings themselves are comfortable to the touch and look beautiful. They come uncoated which means they will darken over time from exposure to the air and oils in your hands. Thanks to the texture of freshly sanded wood, they appear very light. After half a year of use, they are completely smooth and slightly shiny, slightly darker in color. Arrived quickly. The rings are smooth but not polished. I think they will be polished with sweat and use. No problems with splinters. I'm taking off a star because the straps aren't the dimensions other brands suggest. The straps and cams hold my 200 pounds with no problem. In defense of the issue: A. Ideal for the recommended r/bodyweightfitness program!

I bought these for my wife and I to do the recommended exercises from r/bodyweightfitness on Reddit. For this purpose they are ideal. We do push-ups, deadlifts, push-ups, and static holds on them (we can't do powerlifts yet due to space constraints, but I'm sure they'll work for that too). The straps and wood feel tight under my weight.

Love it. I've put together some equipment for an efficient bodyweight home gym (which currently consists of these rings, dip bars, a pull up bar on the door frame and a set of pull up bars. These rings are perfect.
