Works perfectly! best in fuel transfer and lubrication

So I bid on this mini gun and figured why not for $12. Well it works great. You need to collect it and I think some of the negative reviews reflect that. There are no instructions, but if you use this grease gun you should probably have a bit of common sense on how it fits together. A short steel adapter is fitted between the handle and the flexible hose. It works, actually works better than I thought it would, and the fitting is a screw-on/lock fitting. Therefore, you must loosen the fitting a

Crap tool, some have trouble releasing Zerk after use, I had.

BRAND NEW REVIEW! :-(Well today I used it for the first time, unboxed, assembled and tightened all the hardware with 9/16 wrenches. I loaded the gun. I went to the car and broke it! Nothing could get that tip to loosen bring Zerk to match. I had to disassemble the tip and remove the innards to get the Zerk out. It wouldn't reassemble. Wind because there's no one to complain about it. Sent back! Garbage!

Piston leaking! fits grease gun

I simply cannot give this grease gun more than one star. Despite the solid construction, functionality and ease of use, grease leaks around the plunger, so a day after loading the plunger is fully depressed and all the grease is OUTSIDE the plunger. This means that when the piston is pulled back everything is thrown out through the bottom. I stuck with it, loaded the second cartridge and put some lube on it. After 24 hours the plunger is down and all the remaining grease is back behind the…

It's not fancy but it works

This is my first grease gun and I took a bit of learning although I watched the loading and use videos. Ultimately, the gun works fine once I figure out how to load it properly. On the first cartridge I just pierced the top foil seal and made a small hole. Well, it turns out that the entire gasket was pressed into the top of the gun, which kept the grease from escaping. After finding and removing it, the gun worked as it should. While relatively simple, I would like it to come with instructions

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Updates available

Piston internally not tight enough for liquid lube as required on Rock Krawler suspension pivots. I went through two tubes today, the T-handle went straight to the ground after a few minutes, after which all the fat ended up in the rear of the gun. The only way to get it out is to pull the handle back back on, allowing ALL the fat to flow back onto your hand. I used two $15 tubes of 3oz lube to get this thing working. He has ONE JOB. Also last summer when I used it I managed to do it, although…

Get ready to buy a sturdy pistol tip at the farm shop.

The tip of the grease gun that comes with this oil gun is complete junk. Fought with him for 3 hours, did not miss the fat, also had to fight with him and with him. I've used a variety of oil guns before you never had to loosen or tighten the tip to hit the grease. cert. I spent $16 on a new grease gun attachment and then the gun stopped pumping grease through the black extension tube, removed it and everything worked fine. I wasted about a third of my Lucas Marine Grease trying to lubricate…

Spent an annoying hour and a half trying to get it to work.

Not a bad deal for the price but I spent an hour and a half refining it because the hex cap was so tight it couldn't be removed so I could attach the flexible hose fitting . It comes with a flexible hose and hose that you can attach. There are two possible grease outlets from the pump mechanism and it should be as simple as removing the hex bolt and swapping to another grease outlet, but in my case the hex bolt was so tight it couldn't be removed. the right Allen key and it won't budge. I got a

Works but requires effort

This grease gun is supplied in sealed plastic packaging which requires opening. Inside is a gun, rubber lube hose with connector and a solid 4 inch extension. There is a plug on the hose connector that must be removed with a metric allen wrench. Once removed, this plug must be installed on the outlet. When I tried to remove the connector, I ended up removing it because it was too tight when I first assembled it. I ended up using a vise to remove the connector. I was able to install it in the…
