Description of 🌊 WORKSHOP Wet/Dry Vacs WS25010A Wet Nozzle Utility Attachment - 2-1/2-Inch, Black

Wet dry vacuum accessories such as the Wet Nozzle are shop vacuum attachments that are perfect for large, wet spills. This shop vacuum attachment is excellent for cleaning a wet floor. Fits most shop vacuum hoses or wands with a 2-1/2-inch diameter collar. 2-1/2-inch diameter vacuum attachments allows for larger sized debris collection and maximum airflow. The wide squeegee directs water into the air stream for collection and reduces the water left behind, thus minimizing the required drying time.

Not as advertised Best in wet and dry vacuums

Unfortunately the 1 1/4" version I bought is so loose that it falls off the vacuum hose if you turn it upside down. the floor, it keeps falling down. You have to tape the fitting every time you use it. It was also advertised as 14" wide, but it's only 10". I'm sending this POS back!

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons

It works but the plastic is flimsy

I bought this for use on an industrial tile floor. It broke after about 5 uses after running into grout lines. Still works, but I taped it to keep it from sticking to the hose. I would recommend the Shop-Vac 9066600 2.5" Hose Handle and Hose Extensions as all three together are amazing. I'll buy another scraper as it works great except the plastic isn't industrial grade.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Does not stay attached

Would not stay attached to my 1.25 inch extension. I considered buying a new extension and sticking it on, but luckily before I did I found that it didn't work very well as a mop. The design blocks flow too much and the rubber has to be constantly adjusted - bad design. I spent 10 minutes installing Rubber and it worked fine for 5 minutes before having to start again. He was basically just squeezing water. Worked better without the rubber scraper installed. Haven't tried the brush head as I…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Crumpled

Throw away the mop insert

This is very cheap made out of hard plastic with a mop baffle of sorts that won't let you pick up anything but water or maybe a dust mite if it's not really grown up. I pulled the baffle scraper out of mine (it actually slipped out of my hand and popped out when it hit the floor). Without the baffle, the head picks up very fine debris and seems to have good suction (it pinches on my porch carpets anyway), but when used on a concrete slab it squeaks along as it doesn't have a large nozzle width…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • A price that'll bust a piggy bank

broke on impact for wet dry vacuum cleaner

I bought this to replace an OEM part that broke after years of regular use. At first glance it seems normal. I've been using it recently, and the parts that form two separate vacuum channels in the head fell out. Because of this, the device could not collect water from a flat floor as easily and safely as intended. One of the parts is essentially a wiper blade that keeps the main body about 1/16 inch off the floor while providing channels to collect liquid and limiting the chance of the main…

  • cool product

DO NOT BUY! for wet and dry vacuum cleaners

I was only interested in this nozzle because of its "wiping" ability. What a disappointment! The rubber of the mop is interchangeable with the brush but essentially covers the accessible area where the suction opening can be to attach the mop. When you wipe the mop over a wet floor the mopping function works fine, just there is no space inside to soak up the liquid so just push the liquid back and forth. If you cycle it often enough, it will eventually absorb some liquid, but that's not…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Wet behind the ears, good luck with this one

I only bought this for the wet grip feature so I can't speak for the brush. I have older cats where throwing accuracy is the same as other people's. Box on commercial (ie very smooth) vinyl tiles. I have found that the easiest way to clean this place is to use a wet/dry vacuum in combination with mopping. I also bought a small vacuum cleaner and finally this attachment. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The squeegee is inefficient, and the nozzle lets air through and…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons

The wiping system must have been designed as a joke!

The scraper system is not good! Once installed, it eliminates the suction process that most people think is meant to "suck water off the floor," right? Wrong, once this is set your expensive super-duper shop vacuum that has tamed hundreds of pounds of shop shavings for years will now tremble and eventually give up removing even the slightest amount of water from the floor. I removed and threw away the inner squeegee assembly and now I grind the burrs on each end of the nozzle so I don't waste…
